MacX DVD Ripper Pro For Windows allows ripping DVDs to a large variety of file formats, helping you create backup copies of the DVDs or enjoy their contents on portable devices.
Among its advantages, one of the most noticeable is that it can bypass a large variety of DRM restrictions when ripping the DVDs, including CSS encryption, Sony ARccOS encryption, RCE Region protection, Disney X-project DRM, and others. Another important advantage is the support for a large variety of output formats and profiles, such as AVI or MP4 files; optimized for a wide range of devices (iPhone, iPad, iPod, Samsung Galaxy smartphones, HTC smartphones, Sony PSP and PS3, xBox, Zune, Microsoft Surface, BlackBerry phones, etc.). Last but not least, the neat interface and the minimalistic yet handy video editor are nice additions.
On the other hand, the conversion speed is somehow decent, but far from being praiseworthy, and the possibility of setting up individual conversion parameters such as bit rates or aspect ratios is completely missing. The preset conversion profiles are indeed numerous and comprehensive, but in my opinion, this doesn’t compensate for the fact that output file parameters such as the above mentioned ones cannot be chosen by the users.
In my opinion, this tool is good enough to earn my recommendation, as its flaws are minor and easy to ignore. Compared to the many DVD rippers on the market, MacX DVD Ripper Pro For Windows is in fact a great choice, being both reliable and easy-to-use.

The weak point is lacking direct support; only technical support is available via e-mail.
On the other hand, the software has limited editing tools, and its preview function seems a bit useless.
sometimes seems to hang but easily fixed with restart
